In college I studied biology and psychology, earning a degree in Health Science while serving in the Army National Guard. During my military service, at the age of 23, I experienced an unknown autoimmune condition that was characterized by; digestive issues, food sensitivities, inflammation in the joints/muscles, fatigue, brain fog, and anxiety. After many years of research and reflection, I understand that what I experienced was most likely a physical manifestation of a lifetime of chronic/complex stress. The fiery pain and un-ignorable symptoms were a call back into my body, into presence. The blood tests showed up negative for any autoimmune markers and that’s when I chose to take my health into my own hands by doing something I’d never done before– using food as medicine. My health improved drastically by changing the foods I was eating. I was listening and responding to my body with love by giving it a calm and consistent internal environment to heal. Then came the outer environment; I got back into practicing yoga, moved out of unhealthy living spaces, and let go of stressful work environments and relationships. After this experience, I became increasingly interested in holistic preventative health and found my calling in massage therapy 3 years later, in 2018.
The most important things I learned from this experience were that healing is not linear and that health is multi-dimensional. Holistic healing takes time, it is an ongoing process that involves many different aspects of our internal and external lives; the food we’re eating, our relationships (with self and others), work environment, home environment, creative expression, and the embodiment/clearing practices we engage in are all dimensions to consider. The healing journey will have ups and downs– these are natural, like life and nature Herself, and I believe we are always on an upward trajectory.

I graduated from Cortiva Institute with honors and the Mary Jo Myers award, starting my career in massage therapy in 2018. After the death of a dear friend, I answered another calling to learn Reiki and became a certified Usui Holy Fire Reiki Practitioner in 2019. Over time in my practice, I found that I enjoy offering a more gentle touch in my work because I noticed that a lot more breakthroughs and sustainable relief would happen for the client when the pressure was softer and more intentional, rather than a routined, one-size-fits-all sequence. In 2022 I started diving deep into trauma informed massage therapy and found my way into Somatic Mindfulness classes with Dr. Fernando Rojas and Presencing/Somatics classes with Jack Blackburn, which I immersed myself in practicing for the next 3 years (and delight in the opportunity of continuing to attend more classes today). In the fall of 2025, I traveled abroad to learn Maya Abdominal Therapy from Dr. Rosita Arvigo and the amazing ATC teaching team, becoming a certified Abdominal Therapist. This is my most recent offering that I’m so excited to share with you!
My work is gentle and centered around assisting my clients in creating space for the release of chronic pain patterns and tension with a trauma informed, somatically aware approach.
Each new client (with the exception of Reiki clients) starts with a 'New Client Intake' session. This first session is 2 hours in length, where we sit together to go over your health intake form and talk about your goals, have about 90 minutes for table work, and a few minutes at the end for grounding and offering any recommendations I may have for you. After your first session, you may decide to book any of the following bodywork sessions:

To support the collective in re-establishing and maintaining a healthy connection to the powerful energy and wisdom located in their belly/womb and body, seeing their body as an ally.
Presence is where we can access the deepest healing that is already and always here, Now.
The most powerful aspect of somatic bodywork I have noticed from my clients and experienced firsthand, is that our ability to heal is greatly enhanced by the shared presence between two (or more) people. When we engage together in loving conscious awareness of feeling and noticing sensation, we illuminate a previously subconscious pain loop. This creates a pattern interrupt and we create change in areas that may have been a chronic issue for us for many years. It is in the light of conscious, curious, loving awareness where positive change and transformation take place.
