Massage is more than working with muscles and tension—it is an opportunity to reconnect with your body, slow down, and create a greater sense of ease.
Our therapeutic massage practice is grounded in a somatic, trauma-informed approach, recognizing that every body has its own history, needs, boundaries, and ways of responding to touch. Sessions are designed to support you in feeling more comfortable and connected in your body, while addressing areas of physical tension, discomfort, and stress.
Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, each session is collaborative and responsive to what you need that day. We may work with gentle touch and subtle movements, stretching, light to medium pressure therapeutic deep tissue techniques, myofascial techniques, scalp & facial massage, utilizing our breath while working on focused areas of tension, creating space for your nervous system to settle.
You are always in control of your session. We can adjust pressure, pacing, positioning, and techniques at any time. Your comfort and boundaries are central to the work.
Therapeutic massage with a somatic approach may be supportive for people experiencing decreased mobility/ROM, decreased sensation, muscle/fascia pain, chronic tension, stress, overwhelm, disconnection from their bodies, or simply those who want a more mindful, deeply restorative, and personalized massage experience.
After your New Client Intake session, we have 75 min, 90 min, and 2 hr therapeutic massage sessions available.
